At this time, class registration drop period ends, and I’m scrambling to double‑check that all of my classes combine and transfer properly back into courses at my home university. It’s a little difficult because a lot of the class combinations are at inconvenient times, overlap with each other, or are on a different campus about two hours away. Although it was a bit stressful, I was eventually able to figure out something that works. I was a little sad, though, because I wasn’t able to register for a BUS class I needed this semester and thought I could fulfill abroad.

Around this time. I got pretty sick and wasn’t able to go out and do anything including eat for a while and it was kind of sad. But one of my friends suggested we should go get Ramen since it’s warm and I desperately wanted to go eat some food that wasn’t convenient store food while being stuck in my room so we ended up going to a Ramen shop nearby. It was one of the best Ramen I’ve ever had in my life! The broth was so rich, the noodles were so nice, and the meat was so tender. I loved it so much and went back there to eat again not long later.
Not long after, something exciting finally happened I was able to do my hair! I went to a salon that specializes in colorful hair and unique haircuts and managed to get an appointment. The process was extremely long; I arrived around 11 in the morning and finished around five or maybe six in the evening. Although it was a little pricey, getting my hair done back home would’ve been two to three times more expensive, and the quality wouldn’t have been as great. It was also nice having products and techniques that were more curated toward Asian hair. Even though I’ll only have this hair temporarily and for fun, it’s nice to have something bold and unique for a little while.
Other than these events, nothing too major happened over the next few weeks except that I was able to go to karaoke again with new and more friends. This time, the place we chose was much closer to our dorm, so we were able to leave later and walk for about 30 minutes to get back without needing an Uber or the trains. Overall, it was a calm few weeks, and I had a lot of fun.
